After Carnival, the "JETZT afo Fasnacht mache" (Now it's time for Carnival) campaign takes place. It will no longer be held centrally in a tent on Barfüsserplatz, but will instead be decentralized in clique cellars and information stands at various locations in Basel.
The joint carnival app "Basel City Guide" from Basel Tourism and the Fasnacht Committee launched on December 29, 2025. There is a lot to discover in the free app, including information on the themes, routes, starting points and times of the parades, clique cellars, toilet locations, and much more.
The brochure produced by the canton of Basel-Stadt is a guide to fire safety in clique, Guggenmusik bands, and carnival cellars in the canton of Basel-Stadt.

The Fasnacht Committee is giving all 2,200 first graders in Basel a copper badge. It will be distributed in all primary schools in January.

More and more people are enjoying Fasnachtszyschtig, and more and more children are actively participating. However, this also increases the risk: motorized vehicles of all kinds pose a growing danger in the crowds. The Basel-Stadt cantonal police are therefore adapting the police regulations for the carnival next year.
