As different as the individual members may be, there is one constant: We are all passionate about the Basel Carnival and devote a considerable amount of our free time to voluntary work in the Fasnacht Committee. We are supported by a professional office.

We are fully committed to issuing the badge, organizing the Cortège and the Drummeli, promoting young talent and a number of other tasks. Here you can find out what these are and how we have organized ourselves.
Subsidies
At the end of each carnival, we give all the active participants in the Cortège a contribution towards the enormous outlay for the realization of the annually changing theme. This contribution excludes any other sponsoring and is therefore a guarantee for the foolproof nature of the Basel Carnival.
