Blaggedde 2027
The Blaggedde is available in copper for 10 CHF, silver for 20 CHF, gold for 50 CHF, and as a jewelry piece (pin or pendant) for 100 CHF. It is sold through carnival groups, at newsstands and other retail outlets, as well as by street vendors. And, of course, it can Fasnacht Committee be purchased online from Fasnacht Committee .
Currently, this exquisite piece is not available. The unveiling takes place between Christmas and New Year’s; until then, the Blaggedde remains the best-kept secret of the Basel carnival world.
Competition 2027
How can I take part in the Blaggedde 2027 competition as an artist?
The call for entries was issued at the end of May. Design submissions must Fasnacht Committee to the Fasnacht Committee office by Monday, July 27, 2026. Please do not send your designs by registered mail.
