The " Fasnacht Committee " is organizing the "Carnival Projects" initiative in collaboration with the Basel-Stadt Elementary School Administration.
For us, schools are an important way to bring “our” Fasnacht into the classrooms to the children— especially those who haven’t yet developed a personal connection to Fasnacht. We rely on your support to ensure that as many children as possible have the chance to learn more about Fasnacht and experience it for themselves.
We are expressly looking for more than just proposals from cliques: We would be delighted if “ Guggenmusik bands ” or float cliques would also invite a school class or share their knowledge and enthusiasm for Fasnacht.
